This page is a discussion of the Trade Depot Sub-Module.
The Trade Depot Sub-Module is designed to handle the transactions of the player while at a given Starport. Functionally, the Trade Depot Sub-Module is identical to the Trading and Commerce Module; a page has been included on the topic here in the event that any new features needed specifically for the Trade Depot at Starport are ever required (such as an "Analyze" function, as was present in SF1). The Trading and Commerce Module will generate a Current_Trade object incorporating the Starport's information when the player enters the Trade Depot at Starport. It will therefore be necessary to include Starports as trader entries in the trade_data.xml file, and to have some kind of error checking involved in the event that this information is missing.
