Welcome to the Starflight III Wikia
Welcome to the unofficial Wikia site for the ongoing Starflight III project. Starflight III is the "official" sequel to the 1986 PC classic Starflight by Binary Systems and its 1989 sequel Starfight II: Trade Routes of the Cloud Nebula.
The project, ongoing since 1999, has seen a great deal of difficulty as technologies and expectations have changed, and as managers of the project have come and gone. Significant work on the original project ended in 2012, but recently a new community has developed and interest in renewing the project has arisen. At the time of this writing, the intent of this site is to host a design document written for the project in 2011.
